Ingresso libero.

--- Abstract ---

Stereotype threat (ST) occurs when individuals fear confirming negative stereotypes about groups with
which they identify and has been associated with impaired performance. While research on ST has
primarily focused on academic settings (e.g., gender-related ST and math performance), harmful
stereotypes exist within the workplace as well.  The purpose of this talk is to review a series of studies
investigating the health and safety outcomes of stereotype threat among pregnant employees (pregnancy-
related ST) and among workers with caregiving responsibilities (i.e., work-family ST).
